Counselling with Labyrinth Therapies

Counselling offers a supportive, confidential, non-judgemental environment where you are able to explore any emotional, personal and external issues. As a counsellor i aim to offer an empathetic approach where I am with you on your journey, offering support in a confidential environment.

I am a qualified counsellor and have trained within an integrative approach. This means that rather than focussing on one of the three primary fields of counselling (Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioural and Psychodynamic) I have studied all three of these fields and some of their "off branches" and am able to utilise the skills from these areas to provide the best support I can for you.

It is important as a client that you look into which field of counselling may be most suited to you. Also don't be afraid to try out some of the different areas to find out which style of counselling suits you best. As counsellors we are here for you.

BACP

BACP Definition of counselling:

Counselling takes place when a counsellor sees a client in a private and confidential setting to explore a difficulty the client is having, distress they may be experiencing or perhaps their dissatisfaction with life, or loss of a sense of direction and purpose.

What is it?

Counselling is a way of enabling choice or change or of reducing confusion.  It does not involve giving advice or directing a client to take a particular course of action. Counsellors do not judge or exploit their clients in any way.
